This early 1900s export silver Japanese teapot is possibly made by Mimatsu Akira Zo. The large teapot with nice patina has lobed body and applied with bamboo leaves forming the handles and finials. There is an underside mark, indicating the possible authorship. A similar set was sold at Christie’s for over USD$12,000. 749g in weight.
